Un mes después de haber lanzado y ejecutado su exitosa iniciativa #SeComeArrebatao, la Reina del Carnaval de la 44, Alexsandra Estarita Villa, presenta a sus bordilleros su segunda bandera: ‘Juégalo Arrebatao’, con la que pretende revivir y preservar los juegos tradicionales en los barrios de Barranquilla.
Para Alexandra, el deporte, la diversión y la cultura van muy de la mano, ya que reflejan la esencia y sentir de los barranquilleros. Por eso, este proyecto busca conectar generaciones de carnavaleros a través de juegos populares que han sido parte esencial de la cultura de la ciudad, desde el torneo de chequitas, hasta el dominó, el billar y la bola e’ trapo.
“Hay juegos arrebataos que hacen parte de nuestras raíces e idiosincrasia. Mi papá y sus amigos siempre me hablan de los juegos de antes, y también con ellos he podido aprender más sobre el dominó y el billar. Les confieso que me divierto mucho, de principio a fin, con esas historias, y ahora deseo compartir más con los barranquilleros a través de estos juegos que nos hacen únicos”, expresó la Soberana.
Lex, como cariñosamente le dicen, también agregó que “con esta bandera quiero que las nuevas generaciones, que mis carnavaleros, conozcan más de la forma de diversión de antes y que ahora aprendamos a tener un equilibrio con la tecnología. Además, estos juegos tradicionales son sinónimo de hermandad entre amigos y familiares”.
Durante el mes de noviembre, la Reina de la 44 visitará cada fin de semana distintos barrios, recorrerá sus calles, andenes y esquinas para fomentar la interacción y el sentido de pertenencia, uniendo a la comunidad en torno al espíritu competitivo y alegre que caracteriza a Barranquilla.
El recorrido de ‘Juégalo Arrebatao’ inicia este domingo, 17 de noviembre, desde las 9 de la mañana en los barrios La Unión, San Pacho, Montecristo y Barrio Abajo, donde sus habitantes se divertirán de principio a fin jugando ‘chequitas’ con el equipo de la Reina.
Desde el Carnaval de la 44, liderado por Alexsandra Estarita, se busca impulsar la convivencia y la identidad local en un espacio donde la calle es el escenario de las carnestolendas y el deporte.
