Las 25 participantes del Reinado Internacional del Café ya se encuentran en la Feria de Manizales para la edición número 53 del certamen. La primera actividad de la agenda fue un recorrido por la Reserva Natural de Río Blanco, ubicada en las afueras de la ciudad. Este lugar, considerado vital para el abastecimiento de agua en Manizales, les permitió a las candidatas conocer más sobre la biodiversidad local y la importancia de la conservación del medio ambiente.
Las candidatas pudieron disfrutar de la frescura y naturaleza del entorno, rodeadas de un paisaje único, mientras aprendían sobre la flora y fauna que habita en la región. Camila Tascón, la representante de Colombia, compartió su entusiasmo: “Es un sueño hecho realidad estar aquí después de seis meses de preparación tras el Reinado Nacional del Café. Aunque hay mucha presión por la competencia, me siento lista y confiada gracias a la preparación integral que recibí.”
Por su parte, Yennifer Loaiza, Reina de la Feria de Manizales 2024-2025, invitó a la ciudadanía y a los visitantes a disfrutar de las tradiciones y eventos gratuitos que ofrece la ciudad durante la feria. “No solo veo a las candidatas con gran belleza, también las percibo muy preparadas y listas para representar lo mejor de sus países”, comentó Loaiza.
El recorrido también incluyó una visita al municipio de Villamaría, además de un recorrido por el Cable Aéreo y una agenda nocturna privada que ofrecerá a las candidatas una visión más cercana de la cultura y costumbres de la región.
Este evento se perfila como una gran oportunidad para que las participantes no solo muestren su belleza, sino también su conocimiento sobre la región cafetera y su compromiso con la preservación del medio ambiente.
