Este viernes, durante la rendición de cuentas de la Presidencia, la Directora del Departamento Administrativo de la Presidencia de la República (DAPRE), Laura Sarabia, abordó la baja ejecución del presupuesto gubernamental de este año. La funcionaria afirmó que el 2025 será un “año de ejecución” y adelantó que el gobierno implementará una “estrategia eficiente” para asegurar el uso total del presupuesto en el próximo año.
Sarabia explicó que la Presidencia sigue un “modelo específico” para la ejecución presupuestal, el cual establece que los recursos no pueden ser utilizados hasta agotar el saldo de la vigencia anterior. En ese sentido, detalló que este año se logró regularizar los recursos pendientes de años anteriores y comenzar a ejecutar los fondos correspondientes a 2024. “Aunque los indicadores de ejecución muestran una cifra inferior este año, lo que hemos hecho es poner al día los recursos no ejecutados de vigencias pasadas, para comenzar a ejecutarlos ahora”, señaló Sarabia.
La directora también aseguró que ya se está trabajando en una estrategia para garantizar la efectiva ejecución del presupuesto 2025. “Nos hemos propuesto hacer una planificación estratégica más eficiente y eficaz, con microgestión. Si establecemos cinco objetivos, nos aseguraremos de que sean alcanzables y podamos rendir cuentas al final del año sobre su cumplimiento”, concluyó.
