Tras finalizar la tarde de hoy, la Superintendencia de Servicios Públicos Domiciliarios, nombró a Erney Velásquez Torres como nuevo Agente Especial de la Empresa de Servicio Públicos del Distrito de Santa Marta (ESSMAR).
Velásquez Torres cuenta con una extensa formación académica, dentro la que se destaca su título como economista de Universidad Nacional de Colombia; también es especialista en Instituciones Jurídico Políticas y Derecho público de la misma alma mater.
Dentro de su experiencia laboral, se le adjudica 30 años al servicio de la comunidad, tanto en el sector público como privado, 12 de estos han sido ejercido en interventoría. de igual forma, ha sido consultor y asesor en la implementación de políticas públicas.
Cabe resaltar, que luego de la intervención que tuvo el Essmar, desde noviembre del 2022, se espera que Velásquez logre engranar y consolidar el servicio que se presta a los samarios.
