La reina del Carnaval de Barranquilla 2025, Tatiana Angulo Fernández De Castro y la reina del Carnaval de los Niños, Victoria Ceballos Cure, lideraron toma carnavalera en Union Square para invitar a todo el público internacional al Carnaval de Barranquilla 2025 que se vivirá del 1 al 4 de marzo.
Las soberanas, junto a un grupo de carnavaleros residentes en Nueva York, y otros estados, mostraron la alegría que caracteriza a la fiesta más grande de Colombia, declarada por la UNESCO Patrimonio de la Humanidad, y prendieron motores para el gran Desfile de la Hispanidad que se realizará este domingo, 13 de octubre, a lo largo de la Quinta Avenida.
En el evento, la gerente de Carnaval de Barranquilla S.A.S., Sandra Gómez recibió la distinción como ‘Madrina Nacional’ de la participación de Colombia y Barranquilla en la versión número 60 del Desfile de la Hispanidad, distinción que exalta su compromiso con el liderazgo y la promoción de la Fiesta Cultural.
Esta iniciativa liderada por la organización Carnaval de Barranquilla en Nueva York se suma a la agenda de fin de semana de la Hispanidad en la que la ruta #CarnavalBAQPorElMundo se ha tomado diferentes esquinas de la gran manzana.
