El exfutbolista británico David Beckham (Londres, 1975) cumplió este viernes 50 años y aseguró en una publicación en redes sociales que, aunque se siente “bendecido” por todas las cosas que ha experimentado en este medio siglo, el mayor logro de su vida siempre será su familia.
Beckham reflexionó en la red social Instagram sobre su trayectoria vital y dijo que está “agradecido” por todos los equipos en los que ha jugado, por haber podido ser el capitán de la selección de Inglaterra, por su negocio y por los niños que ha conocido durante su labor benéfica.
“Pero mi mayor logro es y siempre será mi familia”, puntualizó el exfutbolista en la publicación, acompañada con fotografías de diferentes momentos de su vida.

Beckham aseveró que sus padres, Ted y Sandra, “sacrificaron” mucho para que pudiese vivir su sueño de convertirse en futbolista y también recordó cómo sus hermanas tuvieron que “aguantar” verle jugar a la intemperie.
A su mujer, Victoria Beckham, la describió como su “mejor amiga” desde hace 28 años, y aseguró que, junto a sus cuatro hijos, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz y Harper, son la razón por la que se levanta de la cama cada día.
“Gracias por hacerme sonreír y gracias por convertirme en un hombre mejor. Os quiero mucho. Gracias por hacer que el día de hoy sea especial para mí. Sois mi mundo”, concluyó el exfutbolista en redes sociales.
Victoria también celebró los 50 años de su esposo en Instagram con un vídeo recopilatorio de diversos instantes de la pareja y de Beckham en su faceta más paternal y desenfadada.
