La Administración Distrital, a través de la Secretaría de Salud, anunció la renovación de la flota del Programa de Atención Prehospitalaria con la incorporación de cinco motocicletas de mayor cilindraje, diseñadas para garantizar una atención médica más ágil y eficiente ante emergencias y accidentes de tránsito en la ciudad.
Estas nuevas unidades, reguladas por el Centro Regulador de Urgencias y Emergencias (CRUE Medellín), reemplazan a las antiguas motos de menor potencia, incrementando significativamente la capacidad de respuesta. “Con estas motos, se optimizan los tiempos de atención para las solicitudes que ingresan al sistema 123. Esto significa un gran avance para Medellín, especialmente en incidentes de tránsito y emergencias en zonas de difícil acceso”, destacó Obyalin Morales, subsecretaria de Gestión de Servicio de Salud.
Cada motocicleta estará tripulada por dos tecnólogos en Atención Prehospitalaria, quienes contarán con equipos especializados para intervenir de manera inmediata en situaciones críticas. Además, las motos serán ubicadas estratégicamente en puntos clave de la ciudad, con el objetivo de reducir al máximo los tiempos de respuesta.
La nueva flota sustituye a las tres motocicletas anteriores de 125 centímetros cúbicos, incorporando unidades más potentes y con mayor capacidad de desempeño en terrenos complejos. Esta modernización refuerza la estrategia de atención inmediata y posiciona a Medellín como una ciudad comprometida con la seguridad y el bienestar de sus habitantes.
Con estas acciones, la Administración Distrital ratifica su compromiso con la mejora continua de los servicios de salud y la atención de emergencias, buscando garantizar una respuesta eficiente y oportuna en cualquier rincón de la ciudad.
