Un trágico incidente conmocionó a la comunidad de Jamundí, Valle del Cauca, luego de que una niña de tres años fuera arrojada desde el cuarto piso de un edificio en el conjunto residencial Torres de Alamadina, presuntamente por su propio padre.
Según las primeras versiones, el hombre habría estado bajo los efectos de sustancias alucinógenas cuando, en medio de una acalorada discusión con su pareja, cometió el atroz acto.
Estado de salud de la menor
La niña sufrió graves lesiones como resultado de la caída. Entre las más preocupantes se encuentra una lesión en el ojo, que habría causado la pérdida total de la visión en ese lado, además de múltiples fracturas en su cuerpo. La menor fue trasladada de urgencia a un centro médico, donde permanece bajo atención especializada.
Enfrentamiento con la comunidad
El hecho desató la indignación de los vecinos, quienes intentaron interceptar la patrulla policial que trasladaba al agresor, buscando hacer justicia por mano propia. Las autoridades tuvieron que intervenir rápidamente para evitar mayores altercados y garantizar la seguridad del detenido.
Investigación en curso
Las autoridades locales han iniciado una investigación para esclarecer las circunstancias del caso y determinar las responsabilidades. Por el momento, el padre enfrenta cargos por tentativa de homicidio y violencia intrafamiliar.
Este hecho ha encendido las alarmas sobre la necesidad de fortalecer las medidas de protección para menores en situaciones de riesgo y ha dejado a la comunidad en estado de conmoción.
