La Superintendencia de Servicios Públicos Domiciliarios designó a Carlos Vera Zapata como nuevo agente interventor de la Empresa de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de El Carmen de Bolívar – Acuecar S.A. E.S.P., intervenida desde el año 2008.
Vera es administrador de empresas, especialista en Finanzas y Negocios Internacionales y en Gestión Pública y magíster en Cooperación Internacional. A través de una trayectoria de más de 30 años en el sector público, privado, de cooperación internacional y la academia, se ha desempeñado en cargos directivos, estratégicos y de control.
En su experiencia laboró en la Empresa de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Bogotá, Findeter, Incoder, la Gobernación de Antioquia y en proyectos del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo y el Banco Mundial en asuntos de formalización de predios y actualización catastral.
