El alcalde de Baranoa, Edinson Palma, acompañado de la gestora social, Julia Durán, entregaron de manera oficial el decreto No. 168 de 20 de diciembre, mediante el cual se formaliza a Stephany Venegas Arcón como Reina del Carnaval 2025.
Stephany, de 18 años, estudiante de Negocios Internacionales y apasionada por la danza, será la encargada de llevar la alegría a cada rincón del municipio y de los corregimientos de Pital de Megua, Sibarco y Campeche, al son de la cumbia, el bullerengue, el porro, el garabato y el mapalé.
Asimismo, el mandatario municipal entregó el decreto No.169 de 20 de diciembre, al nuevo Rey Momo del Carnaval de Baranoa, Jesús Molina Redondo, un hombre dicharachero, bailador y gozador. El Rey Momo acompañará a la Reina Stephany para presidir juntos el ‘Cipote Vacilón’.
Tanto Stephany como Jesús se comprometieron a trabajar incansablemente para fortalecer las tradiciones, la idiosincrasia, la cultura, la gastronomía, el turismo, las artesanías y el folclor baranoero.
