Argumentando que Barranquilla será definitivamente la ciudad de los parques en el país, el alcalde Alejandro Char inspeccionó la noche del sábado dos nuevos parques que se entregarán próximamente en los barrios La Victoria y Campo Alegre.
“Los trabajos marchan a buen ritmo y muy pronto la comunidad disfrutará de espacios recuperados. Podrán hacer ejercicios, venir a pasar un rato en familia. Estamos muy entusiasmados con las inversiones que se están haciendo en estos sitios”, aseguró el alcalde Char.
El mandatario distrital explicó que “en el parque La Victoria recuperaremos la cancha de fútbol, la de patinaje y la cancha de béisbol. Tendrá gimnasio biosaludable, zona de recreación para los niños. Vamos a recuperar aproximadamente 20 000 metros cuadrados que son casi 2 hectáreas de terreno y conservaremos los árboles para que esta comunidad se sienta feliz de tener su parque”.
Igualmente, indicó que el parque Los Sueños, en el barrio Campo Alegre, contará con un CAI para la seguridad de sus habitantes. “Además de recuperar 10 000 metros cuadrados, la cancha de fútbol y la zona de juegos infantiles, este parque contará con un CAI. La gente lo está pidiendo y vamos a hablar con el comandante de la Policía”, agregó el mandatario.
En estas inspecciones, el alcalde estuvo acompañado del director del Foro Hídrico, Alberto Salah; el secretario de Infraestructura, Rafael Lafont, y comunidad de los sectores beneficiados.
